Overview:
In this issue of THE SPEAR, I had full control over the magazine's graphic elements, allowing me to embark on a new endeavor: conducting a photo shoot with the cover story athlete. This decision gave us control over the cover story graphic and enabled me to seamlessly integrate design elements alongside the photos. I also revamped the credits page and table of contents to better align with the current visual language of our Instagram graphics, resulting in a visually cohesive magazine. A significant learning experience for me in this issue was collaborating with my design partner, receiving critiques, making iterations, and meeting deadlines. Despite initial challenges, my partner and I eventually found our rhythm and established a workflow that allowed us to navigate the design process within the deadlines.
